Back to Abu Dhabi

Sunday 10th of March 2013

Returned to Abu Dhabi and started off with seconditus once again.

It  didn't get any better as I finished in 3rd place in the 2nd race. Didn't take it too well knowing that I wasn't beaten by very far, though!

In the Liwa Oasis G1 for Purebread Arabians, we finally had a winner!

I rode Rakha for trainer M. Aljahouri, and was glad I got a chance too. When she won previously in Meydan, I had another ride for The Boss and missed out on a G2 win. That's the way the cookie crumbles I guess!

But back to today!

I haven't had a winner for a while, and it was great that it was also my first G1 win in Dubai this season. Rakha is a great filly who gave a gutsy performance to win by a short head.
